Molesworth Muster

NZL

The 8th Molesworth Muster 80km mountain bike race again attracted a full field of 600 mountain bikers from throughout New Zealand, all keen for the once a year opportunity to race from the historic high country Molesworth Station to Hanmer Springs.

The Molesworth Muster inspires many riders to set personal goals and times to beat and a special mention should go to Jack Ellery – Classic Bull (Geraldine). Jack took out the Last Straggler title but considering Jack has just turned 75 and finished in 6:30:58 this is an amazing achievement and sums up what this race is all about.

Netti MTB Enduro

Australia

Another ripper of an event for the second edition of the Netti MTB Enduro! With the sun back in town for the event after 4 days of rain, the conditions were ideal and participants all finished with sore legs but smiling faces!

Mogo State Forest delivered some seriously sweet riding with new tracks in the first 50kms and hills galore throughout the course: whether they went for the full 100km Angry Doctor or the shorter 50km Irate Intern, riders all got a taste of some of Australia’s best kept MTB secret!

The Nasty Nurse 11km Prologue the day before the main events allowed many young athletes (sometimes VERY young!) to demonstrate their skills on a bike!
